In 2021, the 13U Delaware Ducks were awarded a multi-year substance misuse prevention & wellness grant.

One of the key components are the weekly team builder sessions that were designed to provide mentoring and growth mindset skill development for student athletes.

In the 2019 Delaware Middle School Survey Trending Analysis Report for New Castle County, 5th grade self-reported marijuana use data from 2015 to 2019 revealed a steady increase each year. This is why this program is so important!

Making the decision to register your young student athlete with the Delaware Ducks at any age, will put them on a pathway to eventually benefit from this amazing program!
